How FiveM Bans Work
FiveM uses two types of bans:
Server bans banned from a specific server only. Other servers still work fine.
Global bans banned across all FiveM servers. This happens when FiveM's anti-cheat detects cheating software on your PC.
The most common reason for a global ban is using a detected cheat or a free cheat downloaded from an untrusted source.
What is an HWID Ban?
HWID stands for Hardware ID. When FiveM globally bans you, it records your unique hardware ID a fingerprint of your PC components like your CPU, GPU and motherboard. Even if you make a new account, FiveM will recognise your hardware and ban you again instantly.
This is why simply creating a new account does not work after a global ban.
Full Step-by-Step FiveM Ban Bypass Guide (2026)
Follow every step in order. Skipping any step will result in getting banned again.
Step 1 Uninstall Xbox Apps
Download Revo Uninstaller and use it to completely uninstall and remove all Xbox apps from your PC. Revo Uninstaller removes leftover files and registry entries that Windows uninstaller misses this is important because Xbox apps store account data that FiveM can read.
Step 2 Switch to a Local Windows Account
Go to Windows Settings → Accounts → Your info and make sure you are signed into a local account, not a Microsoft account. Then go to Settings → Accounts → Email and accounts and remove every email address from the list. Any linked Microsoft or Xbox account can be traced back to your ban.
Step 3 Log Out of Epic Games
If you have Epic Games installed, make sure you are fully logged out before continuing. Epic Games stores account data that can be linked to your banned identity.
Step 4 Log Out of Steam, Discord and FiveM
Log out of Steam completely. Log out of Discord completely. Log out of FiveM completely. Do not just close the apps make sure you are fully signed out of all three before running the spoofer.
